The GDT low carbon fuel is mixed hydrocarbon and can therefore be refined into various fuel fractions. It can be blended with fossil fuel diesel at the legislated rate of 0.5% without any loss of power
It can be a substitute for or blended with diesel for the manufacture of explosives in the mining industry
It can be a raw material in the manufacture of monomers and polymers
The recovered low carbon fuel is also used as fuel for the plant distillation process, saving on operating costs.
